Our Point of Difference - How it benefits our Clients

We believe it is our Point of Difference that has kept clients with ABS Couriers and Taxi Trucks year after year, some since our inception. What is it that makes us different to other express courier companies? We could tell you that ABS Couriers and Taxi Trucks was the first to offer a variety of express services in Brisbane. We could tell you about our Technology or our Fleet of Vehicles. None of these things make us any different to other express courier companies. These are merely necessary operational requirements and do not vary much between courier companies.

So, what is it that does make us different and how does it benefit our Clients?

We believe our business is our Clients business.

  • We believe our business is a direct reflection of your business - We take pride in our company, why shouldn't we take pride in yours too? We believe it's important for our drivers to present themselves respectably and to be able to communicate effectively with our Clients. While it can be a tough, sometimes sweaty job, we expect our drivers to present neat and tidy and to maintain a courteous manner at all times. Of course there are some industries and companies where this is not a priority but for others it most certainly is. We understand sending a driver into a boardroom or offices with your important clients present, or to your clients premises' reflects on your company.

  • Low Staff and Driver turnover - This means our staff and drivers get to know you and your business. You would be surprised at just how different each Client's needs are. Delivering an item for point A to point B can be as simple as that. More often then not, it isn't. That's where dealing with the same Staff and Drivers who get to know you and your business is of great benefit to you. The way you choose to book a job, the perhaps seemingly basic pick up and delivery details, the nature of your goods, specific times of trade etc, these vary greatly between companies. We understand should instructions not be followed this can cause a problem - as much for you as for us. It is our business to ensure we know the intricacies of our Clients requirements to ensure such things do not cause a problem for you.

  • Our Proactive Approach - In an ideal world things would always go to plan. But, this is not and ideal world, particularly in transport where there are so many variables with each and every booking. There is a very wide scope for something to go wrong. Most of the time it doesn't, but on occasion, it does. Usually in the first instance it is our driver who finds out that something isn't ready, or the address is incorrect, or the goods can not be found etc. There are similar scenarios with delivery destinations as well. Instead of simply pulling the driver out and sending them on their way, we are on the telephone to you. We do not presume to know what you want to have happen next, we ask. If you are unsure of what you think you should do we can offer some options and work with you to determine what to do next.

  • We ask the questions - Many courier companies will take basic details from you and that is it. It is our experience the more information we have about the pick up/delivery addresses, the nature of the goods, what to do if no one is available to take delivery etc helps us to do our job. This means that if you are the person in charge of getting something somewhere then your job is done too. It's one less thing you have to worry about.
